トランプ大統領のChaos
トランプ新大統領が暴れていますね。
難民やイスラム教徒の多い中東・アフリカ諸国からアメリカ入国を禁止する大統領令にサインをした先月27日あたりから、いろいろと騒がしくなってます。

chaos：混沌、大混乱
なんて見出しの記事が出てるし、
He loves it. ということは、単に騒がせ好きなおっさんみたいな感じですけど、、、
CNN10 （昨年までのCNN STUDENT NEWS）でも、ニュースに取り上げられています。
ちょっと内容を引用してみましょう。

First story we’re covering involves a controversial executive order concerning travel to America. The order that President Donald Trump signed Friday is called the Protection of the Nation from Foreign Terrorists Entry into the United States. It follows through in a campaign promise Mr. Trump made to tighten U.S. borders and stop certain refugees from entering the country.
- controversial：論争の的になる、物議をかもす
executive order：大統領命令
concerning：～に関して、～について
refugee：難民、避難者
選挙公約であった、海外からの難民流入阻止のアメリカ入国に関する大統領命令について取り上げていますね。
トランプ大統領は、
We only want to admit those into our country, who will support our country and love deeply our people.
- admit：認める
support：支援する、応援する
「アメリカをサポートし、アメリカ人を深く愛する人だけを入国させたい」・・・気持ちは分るけど、ちょっと危ない感じゃないですか。
House Speaker Paul Ryan says President Trump is right to make sure the U.S. is doing everything possible to know exactly who is entering the country. This is not the first time U.S. refugee admissions have been suspended. Former President George W. Bush suspended them for three months after the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks.
- make sure：確かめる、確認する、確実に～する
suspend：一時停止する、一時中断する
以前このような入国制限を実施したのは、2001年9月11日のテロ後に当時のブッシュ
大統領が実施して以来みたいですね。
But President Trump’s plan is unique and that it bans from specific countries — Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. The majority of people in these countries are Muslim, and critics say the president’s order discriminates against Muslims.
- ban：禁止する
specific：特定の
Muslim：イスラム教徒の、イスラム教徒
discriminate：差別する
イスラム系を限定した処置ですから、反発は必須ですね。
日本の航空会社も、該当する人たちを乗せない方向で動き出しました。
色々と問題が波及しそうです。
こんな状況で思い起こすのが、次の名言。

There is nothing wrong with Americans except their ideals.
- アメリカ人には欠点がない、彼らの理想を除けば。
1931年の言葉ですけど、今も変わりませんねぇ～
トランプさんが変な理想に向かって進まないことを祈っております。
